College and Worship Pastor
Jamison came to Morristown after he and his family lived on the mission field in Russia, among traveling to other countries through Europe and Asia. The summer before his senior year at Carson-Newman, he felt lead to visit Arrowhead and shortly after he was offered an opportunity to be a worship intern for the student ministry at the church. After interning for a year and graduating Carson-Newman, he was brought on to full time staff at the church.
Jamison now serves as the College + Young Adults pastor as well as our worship pastor. He is passionate about seeing people come to know God better and begin to exemplify Jesus greater. He loves to see what happens when people gather together in true Biblical community to image Jesus to one another.
Jamison's vision is to provide an environment where Jesus is the most important thing. He strives to build gospel-centered communities, especially places where people can live in honest friendship with one another. "We want to see a culture of grace created where people can feel safe to confess their imperfections and be saved by a perfect Savior."
Jamison is married to his wife, Lesley, who serves faithfully alongside him in the College & Young Adult Ministry. He enjoys almost every sport but has a particular affinity for soccer (and the Seattle Sounders). He has a passion for all things “outdoorsy,” such as running, hiking, snowboarding, camping, or rock climbing.
He's broken both of his arms twice and has an arm-span that is 5 inches longer than he is tall. Some of his favorite musicians are John Mayer, Judah and the Lion, Bishop Briggs, and Jon Foreman.
