Childcare workers are responsible for providing care and ensuring overall well-being of children between the ages of 0-11 (or 5th grade) for Arrowhead Church events and Arrowhead connect groups. This will include responsibilities such as overseeing and engaging with children during playtime, maintaining hygiene for children in their care, and providing a safe and monitored environment. Tasks will include changing diapers, distributing snacks, playing with children, and upholding childcare safety policies and procedures. Job requirements include:

• Experience with childcare (paid or unpaid)

• Passing a background check (18 years and older)

• Knowledge of basic childcare skills (changing a diaper, age-appropriate play, etc.)

• Ability to multi-task and care for more than one child at a time.

• Ability to commit to a consistent scheduled childcare need

Childcare workers are paid $12 per hour and are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Any childcare worker under the age of 18 is required to be accompanied by an adult (18 years and older). Every childcare worker over the age of 18 is required to pass a background check and screening interview with the childcare coordinator. Childcare workers are paid monthly and report to the AKids Director.
