For You and Your Children
Today we will be focusing our attention, thoughts, and prayers to the next generation that we are raising up. Today’s kids are facing a high amount of adversity, challenges, and worldly views to overcome. In Acts 2 Peter’s Sermon tells us that Jesus is for us all even our Children.
“Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call.’ With many other words he testified and strongly urged them, saying, ‘Be saved from this corrupt generation!’” Acts 38-40
In a world were adversities are high for Christians it might seem like there is no hope for the next generation, but remember Peter’s words in these verses Jesus is for all of us. Let us spread the word of Jesus to our Children and encourage them to be strong in their faith.
“Jesus, thank you for our children and for the kids of our church. This generation needs to see you clearly. Help give us the strength and courage to pursue the next generation of Kids so they might hear your Good news and be saved.”
