25 Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation about Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept silent for long ages 26 but now revealed and made known through the prophetic Scriptures, according to the command of the eternal God to advance the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles — 27 to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ — to him be the glory forever! Amen.
In Paul’s final words to the Roman church he reflects on the wisdom of God’s plan in the gospel and the fact that it’s beyond man to understand that plan. God’s plan is one that no one could have ever come up with. If there is a main theme that Romans expresses it’s that God is great, God is glorious, and God’s gospel is good news. It’s fitting that Paul concludes his letter with a simple expression of Worship. God’s glory will be recognized and praised for eternity. Let’s not wait, let’s step into the grace and victory that Paul talks so much about and begin to worship God for who He is right now and into forever.
