Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager will help tell the story of what God is doing across the Arrowhead Church Network through thoughtful, engaging, and resource-focused content. This role will oversee and manage our primary social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook), creating and scheduling content that encourages our church family, shares helpful resources, and highlights meaningful moments from Sunday mornings and beyond.
This person will help us move beyond simple event promotion and instead create story-driven, sermon-centered, and resource-oriented content that serves people well.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage and schedule content for Instagram and Facebook
Arrowhead Morristown
Arrowhead Greeneville
Arrowhead Grainger
Arrowhead Kingsport
Respond to messages and DMs on behalf of the church
Create 3-5 posts per week, per church. Posts such as:
Weekly sermon and podcast video reels
Sunday-based posts (sermon quotes, key points, Scripture highlights)
Event promos and highlights
Creative video-based posts to engage with church attendees through the week
Maintain a simple content calendar and consistent posting rhythm
Collaborate with pastors and staff to ensure content reflects current series and church priorities
What we’re looking for
Experience creating content for Instagram and Facebook
Familiarity with Canva and basic video editing tools
Strong design sense and ability to match Arrowhead’s style
Clear communication and reliability with deadlines
Openness to feedback and quick revisions
A heart to serve the Church through creative work
A partner already involved at an Arrowhead Church congregation
