Arrowhead Morristown | Worship Leader

Garrett, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, moved up east to swim at Carson-Newman University. During his time as a student-athlete, he continued to learn more about leadership while serving in C+YA at Arrowhead. Through serving he went from a volunteer, to an intern, full time as the Content Designer after completing his Bachelors in Communication, and now as the Worship Leader of Arrowhead Morristown. He has since completed a Masters in Applied Ethics and Leadership through Johnson University with the Knoxville Fellows program.

Garrett seeks to experience and equip Arrowhead to see the immense joy of the Lord, hope for eternity, and necessity to unity through worship. He loves gathering together to sing the powerful truth of the Gospel.

“My prayer is that our church each week would sound a little more like heaven. A little more joyful, proud and excited for the hope we have in eternity, and quick to extend love and wear that badge boldly. And though we’re not yet there, we want to hear and have as many people join our choir as possible—because I believe that Jesus wouldn’t want to be a solo artist.”

Garrett also leads worship for our students at C+YA and Fuse.“There are few things more encouraging, impactful to my life, and just incredibly awesome than hearing a room full of students worship our wonderful Father. It calls and invites me to worship deeper.”

In his spare time, Garrett enjoys art through many forms—writing, graphic design, acrylic pour paintings, and pretty much anything else loud or messy. He also is a pizza enthusiast who believes pizza is the most important meal. If you see Garrett, just say hi! He might be a little loud, but he loves people.
