Lisa Biery
Arrowhead Morristown | Director of Next Steps
Lisa was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and moved to Morristown when she was 7. After a few years in Greensboro, NC, she and her husband, Kyle, came back to Morristown to raise a family and to teach. Lisa taught at East High and Kyle at Carson-Newman University (where he continues to teach today).
Lisa grew up with our lead pastor, Ben, and 15 years later, after much prayer and many conversations, Lisa and Kyle Biery joined the core team of the Arrowhead church plant. She came on staff in 2011.
Lisa now serves as Director of Next Steps. She loves to connect people with each other and she plans many of our church events and gatherings. Her goal is for people to be passionate about sharing the gospel with others and create a snowball effect of multiplication.
Lisa describes her husband, Kyle, as a creative man always full of surprises. They have three kids, Luke, Lilah, and Keaton, and two wiener dogs. When she isn't running around with them, she loves to workout, run, watch Downton Abbey and HGTV, and change her hair. And she loves balloons... lots of them.
