2023 21 days of prayer: day 2

“When it comes to prayer, God isn’t grading essays; he’s talking to children.” (Tyler Staton)

There’s always fear you won’t do it right. It’s ok. Do it anyway. If we could gain even a partial understanding of what it means to be sons and daughters of God, we’d never be reluctant to pray. Even if you can only find a sentence or two of focused, undistracted desire spoken to the Lord, give Him that. 21 days is a long time. Start today!

In our reading today in Matthew 4, Jesus is compelling enough for Peter to leave everything behind and follow Him. He began to do so many miracles that his fame spread through the whole region. Whatever you’re asking Him for today, He can do.
